Katnga - Hot & Spicy

Katnga is our vernacular term for ginataang laing. It is a favorite Bicolano dish made of dried taro leaves and coconut cream.

There are many versions of Katnga. You can use shrimp, fish meat, crab meat, pork meat, chicken meat or just plain alamang as ingredient. And let's not forget the big chilies for a little spice.
